The wheels on your vehicle were aligned and balanced carefully at the factory to give you the longest tyre life and best overall performance.
In most cases, you will not need to have your wheels aligned again. However, if you notice unusual tyre wear or your vehicle pulling one way or the other, the alignment may need to be reset.
If you notice your vehicle vibrating when driving on a smooth road, your wheels may need to be rebalanced.
NOTICE
Incorrect wheel weights can damage your vehicle’s aluminium wheels. Use only approved wheel weights.
To equalize tread wear, HYUNDAI recommends that the tyres be rotated every 7,500 miles (12,000 km) or sooner if irregular wear develops. During rotation, check the tyres for correct balance.
If the tyre is worn evenly, a tread wear indicator will appear as a solid band across the tread. This shows there is less than 1/16 in. (1.6 mm) of tread left on the tyre.
Park your car at the side of the road so that you can work with the Tyre Mobility Kit away from moving traffic. To be sure your vehicle will not move, even when you're on fairly level ground, always set your parking brake. Only use the Tyre Mobility Kit for sealing/ inflation passenger car tyres.
