If the Smart Key does not operate normally, you can lock or unlock the door by using the mechanical key.

Move the release lever in the direction of the arrow (1) and then remove the mechanical key (2). Insert the mechanical key into the key hole on the door.
To reinstall the mechanical key, put the key into the hole and push it until a click sound is heard.
Loss of a smart key
A maximum of two smart keys can be registered to a single vehicle. If you happen to lose your smart key, it is recommended that you should immediately take the vehicle and remaining key to your HYUNDAI authorised repairer or tow the vehicle, if necessary.
Tailgate unlocking To unlock: 1. Carry the smart key. 2. Either press the tailgate handle button or press the Tailgate Unlock button (3) on the smart key for more than one second.
The smart key may not work if any of the following occur: The smart key is close to a radio transmitter such as a radio station or an airport which can interfere with normal operation of the smart key.
The sensitivity of vehicle speed when following the front vehicle to maintain the set distance can be adjusted. Go to the 'User Settings → Driving Assist → Smart Cruise Control Speed → Slow/Normal/ Fast' on the LCD display. You may select one of the three stages you prefer.
Wheel replacement When replacing the metal wheels for any reason, make sure the new wheels are equivalent to the original factory units in diameter, rim width and offset. Tyre traction Tyre traction can be reduced if you drive on worn tyres, tyres that are improperly inflated or on slippery road surfaces.
