Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective
tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
|

Take care not to scratch the body surface.
|
|

Remove the tail gate upper trim.
(Refer to Tail Gate - "Tail Gate Trim")
|
2. |
Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector (B).
|
3. |
Disconnect the rear washer nozzle (A).
|
4. |
Remove the rear spoiler cap (A).
|
5. |
After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the rear spoiler (A).
Tightening torque :
5.9 - 6.4 N.m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb-ft)

After loosening the mounting screws, remove the high mounted stop lamp
(A).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
|

Other information:
Checking the brake/clutch
fluid level
Check the fluid level in the reservoir
periodically. The fluid level should be
between MAX and MIN marks on the
side of the reservoir.
Before removing the reservoir cap
and adding brake/clutch fluid, clean
the area around the reservoir cap
thoroughly to prevent brake/clutch
fluid contamination...
WARNING
Over-inflation or under-inflation
can reduce tyre life, adversely
affect vehicle handling, and
lead to sudden tyre failure that
may cause loss of vehicle control
resulting in an accident.
Each tyre, including the spare (if provided),
should be checked monthly
when cold and inflated to the inflation
pressure recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer on the vehicle placard
or tyre inflation pressure label...

1. Park the vehicle and set the parking
brake.
2. Pull the release lever to unlatch
the bonnet. The bonnet should
pop open slightly.
