Multifunction Switch Inspection

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position as
shown below.

In the body electrical system, failure can be quickly diagnosed by using
the vehicle diagnostic system (GDS).
The diagnostic system(GDS) provides the following information.
(1) |
Self diagnosis : Checking failure and code number (DTC)

Current data : Checking the system input/output data state
|
(3) |
Actuation test : Checking the system operation condition
|
(4) |
Additional function : Controlling other features including system
option setting and zero point adjustment
|

Select the 'Car model' and the 'Body Control Module (BCM)' to be checked
in order to check the vehicle with the tester.

If your vehicle is equipped with a
sunroof, you can slide or tilt your
sunroof with the sunroof control lever
located on the overhead console.

The ignition switch must be in the ON
position before you can open or
close the sunroof.
The sunroof can be operated for
approximately 30 seconds after the
ignition key is removed or turned to
the ACC or LOCK(or OFF) position.
However, if the front door is opened,
the sunroof cannot be operated even
within 30 seconds.
