Hyundai i30 (PD): Wipers and washers / Rear window wiper and washer switch
The rear window wiper and washer switch is located at the end of the wiper and washer switch lever.
Turn the switch to the desired position to operate the rear wiper and washer.
2 – High wiper speed
1 – Low wiper speed
O – Off
Push the lever away from you to spray rear washer fluid and to run the rear wipers 1~3 cycles. The spray and wiper operation will continue until you release the lever. (if equipped)
Auto rear wiper (if equipped)
The rear wiper will operate whilst the vehicle is in reverse with the front wiper ON by selecting the function on the LCD display.
Go to ‘User Settings → Convenience → Auto Rear Wiper (reverse)’.
This vehicle has a "hidden" wiper design which means that the wipers cannot be lifted when they are in their bottom resting position. 1. Within 20 seconds of turning off the engine, move the wiper lever down and hold it to the position for about 2 seconds until the wipers move to the top wipe position.
Rear View Monitor â– Type A â– Type B â– 5 Door â– Wagon â– Fastback The Rear View Monitor will activate when the engine is running and the shift lever is in the R (Reverse) position.
