Repair procedures

Remove the drive belt.
(1) |
Release the tension of the drive belt by turning the drive belt
tensioner unclockwise.

Remove the drive belt (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Visually check the belt for excessive wear, frayed cords etc.
If any defect has been found, replace the drive belt.

Cracks on the rib side of a belt are considered acceptable.
If the belt has chunks missing from the ribs, it should
be replaced.

position, the ESC indicator light illuminates,
then goes off if the ESC
system is operating normally.

your vehicle may have a malfunction
with the ESC system...
