Repair procedures

1. |
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")

2. |
Drain the coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|
|
3. |
Disconnect the radiator lower hose (A).

|
|
4. |
Remove the water fitting pipe (A).
|
Tightening torque :
18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb-ft)

5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Always use a new water fitting pipe O-ring.
|

|
6. |
Fill with engine coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
|

The coolant must be injected according to the integrated
thermal management module (ITM) coolant filling method.
|

|
|
7. |
Start engine and check for leaks.

Applying the parking brake
To apply the EPB
(Electronic Parking Brake):
1. Depress the brake pedal.
2. Pull up the EPB switch.
Make sure the Parking Brake
Warning Light comes on.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of SERIOUS
INJURY or DEATH, do not operate
the EPB whilst the vehicle is
moving except in an emergency
situation...
