Description and operation
The EGR Pressure Sensor is installed on the differential pressure valve and
measures the pressure of the exhaust gas recirculation.

Connect a diagnostic tool on the Data Link Connector (DLC).
|

2. |
Measure the output voltage of the EGR pressure sensor at idle and IG
ON.
|
Specification : Refer to "Specification"
|
|
|

Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then disconnect the battery negative
(-) terminal.
|
|
2. |
Disconnect the EGR pressure sensor connector (A).
|
|
3. |
Remove the installation bolt (B), and then remove the sensor.
|
Tightening Torque :
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Install the component with the specified torques.
|

|
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped.
If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
