Hyundai i-30: Fuel Delivery System / Filler-Neck Assembly
Repair procedures

Open the fuel filler door and remove the filler-neck assembly mounting
bolts (A).

Remove LH rear wheel guard.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Rear Wheel Guard")

3. |
Disconnect the leveling hose (A).
|
4. |
Disconnect the fuel filler hose (B).
Tightening torque :
4.9 - 6.9 N.m (0.5 - 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.1 lb-ft)

Disconnect the ventilation hose (A).

Remove the bracket mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the filler-neck assembly (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

cable.

Other information:
The TPMS malfunction indicator will
illuminate after it blinks for approximately
one minute when there is a
problem with the Tyre Pressure
Monitoring System.
We recommend that the system be
checked by a HYUNDAI authorised
repairer.
NOTICE
If there is a malfunction with the
TPMS, the low tyre pressure position
telltale will not be displayed
even though the vehicle has an
under-inflated tyre...
