Hyundai i-30: Panorama sunroof / Movable Glass
Repair procedures
1. |
Open movable glass completely pressing panorama sunroof switch.

2. |
Remove the slide folding cover (A).

Close movable glass completely pressing panorama sunroof switch .
|
4. |
Loosen screws mounted on the glass using star wrench (T25) then remove
movable glass (A).

Be careful not to damage screws.

5. |
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Carry out considerable step adjustment after exchanging
movable glass.
|
• |
When movable glass is installed tilt lever should be
inserted first and be careful that tilt lever shoe should
not be damaged by rear rail interference.

Inspect Glass Alignment

Perform considerable step alignment after replacing movable glass (A).

In order to remove the front glass, use the tools shown in the
following figure:

Incorrect engagement of motor pinion with drive cable
Decrease in motor's clutch slipping force
Increased sunroof sliding resistance or interference of sunroof with drive
cables, weatherstrip, etc...

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective
tape around the tools to prevent damage to components...
