Repair procedures
Removal
1.
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securelysupported.
2.
Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rearhub.
Tightening torque :
107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

  
Be careful not to damage the hub bolts whenremoving the rear wheel and tire (A).
3.
Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector(A).

4.
Remove the parking brake cable.
(Refer to Brake System - "Rear Disc Brake")
5.
Remove the rear carrier assembly.
(Refer to Driveshaft and Axle - "Rear CarrierAssembly")
6.
Remove the rear shock absorber.
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Rear ShockAbsorber")
7.
Remove the rear stbilizer bar.
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Rear StabilizerBar")
8.
Remove the rear muffler.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - Muffler")
9.
Remove the rear upper arm
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Rear UpperArm")
10.
Remove the rear lower arm
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Rear LowerArm")
11.
Remove the rear assist arm
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Rear AssistArm")
12.
Remove the trailing arm
(Refer to Rear Suspension System - "Trailing Arm")
13.
After setting a jack, loosen the bolts and then removethe rear cross member.
Tightening torque :
137.3 - 156.9 N.m (14.0 - 16.0 kgf.m, 101.3 - 115.7 lb-ft)

14.
Installation in the reverse of removal.
15.
Check the wheel Alignment.
(Refer to Tires/Wheels - "Alignment")
Insepction
1.
Check the bushing for wear and deterioration.
2.
Check the rear cross member for deformation..
3.
Check for all bolts and nut
