Repair procedures
Removal
  
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Eject all the disc before removing the Audio head unit to prevent damaging the CD player's load mechanism.
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
Be careful to store and handle the crash pad when removing/installing because lubricant and oil can leave a stain on the trim.
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the center fascia panel.
(Refer to Cluster Pad - "Center Fascia Panel")
3.
Remove the crash pad garnish assembly [RH].
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash pad side garnish assembly [RH]")
4.
Remove the hazard switch.
(Refer to Lighting System - "Hazard Lamp Switch")
5.
Remove the audio head unit assembly after loosening the mounting screws.

6.
Remove the audio unit assembly after disangaging the upper cover (A).

7.
Remove the audio unit assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

8.
Remove the audio head unit after disconnecting the connectors and cable (A).

  
When the compact disc is not ejected, do not remove it forcibly.
Installation
1.
Connect the avn head unit connectors and cable.
2.
Install th audio head unit.
3.
Install the center pascia panel.
4.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  
Make sure that the cables and connectors are plugged in properly.
Check the audio system for normal operation.

    The ignition switch must be in the ON position before you can open or close the sunroof.

    The sunroof can be operated for approximately 30 seconds after the ignition key is removed or turned to the ACC or LOCK(or OFF) position. However, if the front door is opened, the sunroof cannot be operated even within 30 seconds.
