Removal

Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported...
General Information
The supplemental restraint system (SRS) is designed to supplement the seat belt
to help reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and passenger by
activating and deploying the driver, passenger, side airbag and belt pretensioner
in certain frontal or side collisions...
Other information:
1. Insert the tongue plate (A) into the
buckle (A’) until an audible “click"
is heard, indicating the latch is
locked. Make sure the belt is not
twisted.
2. Pull the tongue plate (B) and
insert it into the buckle (B’) until an
audible “click” is heard, indicating
the latch is locked...
Repair procedures
Removal
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
2.
Disconnect the vent hose quick-connectors (A).
3.
Remove the fuel tank air filter (A)...

Opening the bonnet
1. Park the vehicle and set the parking
brake.
2. Pull the release lever to unlatch
the bonnet. The bonnet should
pop open slightly.
